"You Take After Your Dad"
Scripture Verses - Genesis, Chapter 1, Verses 24 - 27.
Reviewing last weeks teaching we saw that WHO + WHAT + HOW = WHY
Today we are looking at the Truth that you and I are made in the "image and likeness" of God and how that should affect how we view God, our value, and the purpose for which He made us.
1) We Are Created For His Glory "Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom are formed and made." (Isaiah, Chapter 43, Verse 7)
2) We Are Made In His Image "Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness" (Genesis 1, Verse 26) 3)
3) We Are Bearers Of His Image
"Without a theological, God-centered framework, life not only has no coherent origin, life has no coherent meaning." Dr. Phil Kramer How we view life, created by God, determines how we value ourselves and others and if we will be bearers of His image to a world that so desperately needs to see Him.
The Bible teaches that every human life is sacred, and is of equal and immeasurable worth, made in God's image, regardless of race or ethnicity.
